UGANDA elections 2011

In Uganda, the political atmosphere becomes tense during election campaigns for the highest offices in the land. The beginning of politicians long journey to general elections in 2011 has started in earnest.

The voting day will witness only one out of the many candidates traversing the country on their campaign trails emerge as the president of Uganda for next five years.

The National Resistance Movement’s candidate Yoweri Museveni, Dr Kizza Besigye of the Forum for Democratic Change, Jaberi Bidandi Ssali of the Peoples’ Progressive Party, Beti Kamya of the Federal Alliance, betty Kamya of federual allaince, Uganda Peoples Congress candidate Olara Otunnu, the People’s Development Party’s Abed Bwanika, Independent candidate Samuel Lubega, and DP’s Nobert Mao are all runing for presisdent.
